Signed Books for the Holidays

The holiday season is here! If you want to give one of my books as a gift (which, frankly, I think is a marvelous idea!), and if you want to give a signed copy, here is how to do that.

1. If you’re a Utah type, come in to The King’s English in Salt Lake City (1511 South 1500 East) on Sat, Nov 29 from 12-2 pm where I’ll be a guest bookseller for Small Business Saturday. I can sign your books in person then.

2. Order your book from The King’s English in Salt Lake City.

a. Choose the book you want and add it to your cart.

b. Click the button to check out.

c. This will take you to a new page. Scroll to the bottom and there will be a section for Order   Comments. Enter in the name for whom you want the book personalized.

d. King’s English will do the rest. They’ll have me come in to sign it and ship it off to you. This is the easiest plan if you don’t already own the book.

3. If you DO already own the book, you can send it along with a pre-paid return envelope. I will sign it and put it back in the mail. Address it to me and send it to PO Box 735, Morgan, UT 84050.

4. Cross your fingers to win an ARC of MARK OF THE THIEF. There will be a lot of entries, but I’m going to give several copies away in December. Look for details here on my blog beginning this weekend!

I also think that a good book like yours is a great gift idea this holiday season… I am excited for the giveaway Miss Jen and frankly speaking you are one of the coolest authors I have ever met because of the book giveaways you have done for us, which I have barely seen from other authors hehe… Btw Miss Jen the book you sent to me is still nothing in our local post office 🙁

Or somebody misplaced it before delivering it to me… I am sorry Miss Jen (I am that embarassed that you will send another one) But again many thanks Miss Jen! You are the best 🙂

    Ms. Jen,
I could not express how grateful I am to God for letting me know such a generous and wonderful author like you. Even if I will not win this time, you have been such a kind person to me. I am really thankful for the books you have sent me before. Haha. I am looking forward in reading this new book to be released soon and just reading ALL the books you will write. Praying that it would be a best selling book. <3 thank you. God bless! 😀 All the best.

    Hi Mrs.Nielsen!
Is there any way for me to enter your Marc of the Theif arcs giveaway without social media?

Meryem – you don’t have to post anything on social media. In fact, the way to earn the most entries is to simply respond in comments to the giveaway blog with a fact about Rome that you think I don’t know. If you find one, I’ll reply to let you know you got five bonus entries. You can also just leave a comment in that blog about who you want to win the ARC for (yourself, book club, library, etc).

I agree that this would be a great gift! I love the Ascendance Trilogy. I am re-reading it for the third time. My sister recently modeled her gingerbread house after Farthenwood. The tootsie roll stones turned out quite well.
Can we send in a book to be signed during any part of the year? When you send in a book, about how long does it take to get it back?

Thanks, Kaitlyn – I wish I could see the Farthenwood gingerbread house, I’m sure it was wonderful! Yes, you can send in a book at any time in the year. How long it takes to get it back depends on a few different factors, but probably within a couple of weeks.

Thank you! That’s great to know. Maybe I could send it in for her birthday… For Christmas I made her a picture with all of the best Jaron quotes. I only edited one thing. I love the way that the book ended, but it was so perfect that I didn’t see how there could possibly be any sequels. I loved the trilogy too much to have no hope for a future. So, I remedied this problem by creating my own ending. After the last sentence of The Shadow Throne I inserted …for now. And then for I began to play the soundtrack that they play at the end of Pirates of the Caribbean. 😉 What do you think?
I wish that you could see thee house too. Is there any way that I could send you a picture? On twitter maybe?
