An advanced copy of book 5 of the Ascendance series, when it is available.
The event is free. You do not have to purchase a copy of THE CAPTIVE KINGDOM to participate; however, for those who do get a copy (or purchase any of my books from The King’s English Bookshop before October 8), you will receive:
- An automatic entry to win an advanced copy of Book 5.
- A swag pack including some original art for book 4.
- An autograph in your book.
NOTE: If you want the book autographed, at the very bottom of the checkout section it says: “ORDER COMMENTS.” That is the place for you to request the autograph. Tell them who you want it signed to, or if you want a signature only.

Is the 6pm launch party time in Mountain Time?

Reply to the confirmation email they sent you and specify who you want the book made out to.

I shared on Facebook, and I preordered Captive Kingdom from King’s English. So excited 🙂 As for book launch ideas, I’ve never been to an in person or virtual one. I think it might be fun to see some of the fan entries from the big contest, Q&A, a quick finish this story game, or trivia.

How do we get our hands on the Hardcover copy of The Runaway King? The King’s English Bookshop doesn’t have it and I really wanted to get a copy signed by you. It’s my favorite book of the series thus far.

Hi! What is the difference between “Signed to” and “only signed”? I am pretty confused.
Signed to is if you want your name in the book. Only signed means all I do is put my signature in it but I don’t add your name.
Will those who preordered “The Captive Kingdom” from Amazon still receive the artwork?

No, you can still get it personalized. Send me an email (jen@jennielsen.com) with your full name and how you want it to be signed, and I’ll try to take care of it when I go in to sign the books next week.
