Okay, so wow – what a week!
Goodreads released its nominations for Best Books of 2012, and THE FALSE PRINCE found a place in their Best Middle Grade and Children’s list! It is a great honor to be there, especially amongst such greats as Rick Riordan’sĀ two latest releases, more than a few books often mentioned as Newbery candidates, the final ARTEMIS FOWL book, and Brandon Mull’s fantastic series, THE BEYONDERS.
However, if you are a Goodreads member and feel like voting for THE FALSE PRINCE, I probably wouldn’t object! (Okay, I would actually very much appreciate it!) You can vote here. Voting in the opening round will continue until Sat, Nov 10.
And then on Friday, Publishers Weekly released its own Best Books of 2012, and THE FALSE PRINCE was also included on the Children’s Fiction list. To be listed with authors such as R.L. LaFevers, Maggie Stiefvater, Lois Lowry, Libba Bray, and Kristin Cashore is absolutely amazing.
My sincerest thanks to Goodreads for the nomination and to Publishers Weekly for the inclusion on their list.
And I won’t even tell about a conversation I had this week..
No seriously, I won’t. If I do, they’ll find me…Ā J

I already voted for your book on Goodreads. And nominated it for Cybils. Then I saw it on the PW list too. I’m so excited for you Jen! You deserve it.
Natalie, I know you have been one of the finest friends this book has had, and I thank you most sincerely for that. Hugs-
I love Rick Riordan’s books, but in all honesty, I do prefer your Ascendance Trilogy. Everything about it is just awesome; I definitely voted for “The False Prince” and I really look forward to the sequel!
Thanks Mara – I’m a huge fan of his books too, but I appreciate your vote!
Way to go Jen! You totally deserve it. You’ve got my vote. š
I voted for it last week! Sage deserves every vote š <3
Thank you Jen and Adrianna!
I love “The False Prince” and already voted this book on Goodreads. I would sooo marry Sage if he existed š Can’t wait to read “The Runaway King!”
Thank you Kim. I’m sure Sage would be honored by that.
I Agree With Kim On The Marring Sage Part :P, I Wish I Could Hop In The Book and Be Apart Of That World…. Well I Could Always Dream Of It… In Math š (My Math Teacher Says No Books, But I Almost Memorized The Entire Book By Heart >:P) But Kim If You Were Too Do The Same… Its Gonna Be A Sage And Roden Thing Again, But FOR SAGE’S HAND IN MARRIAGE xD (Jk, I’ll Be Nice For NOW)
