The Ascendance Series will always have a special place in my heart. It inspires me to read more, write more, and have my own adventures more often (even though they usually don’t involve swords.)
All these ideas would be such lovely reads, but what I would love to see most is the scene between Roden and Harlow that is mentioned in the epilogue of the Shadow Throne. The reveal was so touching, I’d love to see how it went down with the two of them.
I’d love to see #2 to peek into Christmas time at Mrs. Tuebeldy’s Home for Disadvantaged Boys. My son wants the Asecendance series for Christmas so this would be a dream to win! Thanks!
Fink’s Backstory
I never knew I needed to know Fink’s backstory until now. My vote is for #1.
Oof…this is such a hard decision…I would love to hear finks backstory, but I also would love to read Roden’s reaction to meeting Sage for the first time. However, the story I would love to see the most is more royal family content. Perhaps we could learn more about what might have been going through King Eckbert’s mind the day he was murdered. Did he consider telling Erin the truth? Did he ever wonder what happened to his son? I would love to see such a bittersweet story.

These fan creations are so well-made. Makelle, the detail in your craft with the coloured lights really gives the piece such an amazing aura. Hi! I’m currently a junior in high school and have loved these books ever since I read them in eighth grade. they’re just like no other books I’ve read, and they really encouraged me to keep reading.
I think the short story I would most like to read is Fink’s back story as he is one of my favorite characters!
A short story that I would like to see would be from King Eckbert’s point of view and would describe the events a month before his death and his suspicions of the regents (and why). In The Runaway King, Mott says that a month before the king and queen’s death that King Eckbert had become suspicious, but I don’t think he said why or what had happened.
A second choice for a short story would definitely be Fink’s backstory.

Or, I would like a council meeting between Carthya and the other countries when Jaron was a small child, and he gets up to some mischief and causes problems, causing either the other rulers to dislike him, find him adorable, or something else. Is there any news on a False Prince movie yet?
I already posted here, but I’m not seeing it. So, I will post again just in case it didn’t go through.
I would absolutely LOVE to get more royal family content. I would love to read a short about the day of the royal family’s murder. Did Eckbert ever consider telling Erin about Jaron? Did he ever wonder what was happening to him? I would love to see a story from his perspective in this way.
Mrs. Nielson I have the best idea ever… I am choosing other as much as I would love to see Mrs. Turbedly’s Christmas for disadvantage boys. Could we please, please get Mott’s POV as he figures out that Sage the Orphan is Jaron in the first book? I would love to see Mott’s thoughts as to how slowly got clues about things Sage did that reminded him of Jaron. I think This would be AWESOME

I would absolutely love to hear Fink’s backstory! I’ve read all 5 books, and ever since Fink was introduced he has been one of my favorite characters. I have personally seen alot of character development from him in the books, so it would be interesting to know what he was like before he first appeared in The Runaway King.

Definitely Fink’s backstory, though they all sound like great options! As for other suggestions, what about something from Connor’s perspective, like his initial reaction to Sage or what he’s thinking during the twist at the end of The False Prince? A scene between Harlowe and Roden would also be amazing.

I think something that would be really interesting would be a story with Mott before he meets Jaron, or his POV meeting Jaron. Also, Trea since we didn’t see her in The Shattered Castle.

I just want to say this series has been with my since I was 12. Thank you for my childhood! Anyways I honestly would love to hear all of the short stories but if I have to choose I would pick between Meeting Sage- Imogen POV or Finks backstory!! 🙂

Loved this book! I would like to see Imogen’s point of view of meeting Sage. Since she didn’t talk to anyone but Sage, I want to know what made her talk to him even when it got her in trouble.

I love this book and that I can share it with my jr high daughter! It’s is exciting, but still appropriate/clean.

I’d love to read all of them, but Fink’s backstory sounds intriguing. I introduced my sister to the series, and she prefers to listen to audiobooks, so she’s been telling me all about these secret bonus stories I can only listen to if I borrow the audiobooks. I don’t like listening to new stories on audiobooks, but if they’re even a fraction as good as the rest of my favourite series, I guess I’ll be borrowing the audiobooks.
I choose meeting sage – imogen’s pov. Actually I’m also curious about imogen’s pov on several other occasions, apart from the initial meeting with sage because I feel that imogen is still difficult to understand him so i would be contented to hear her perspective on sage/jaron 🙂
I also would like a story about Jaron and Imogen’s relationship outside the conflict because it is rarely told in the book, only a little bit 😀

I would LOVE to see any of those short stories, but I think I’d be so cool to her the Christmas at the orphanage one. I always wanted to know more about Sage’s time there. Such a good series, I recconmend it to everyone I know.

THIS IS MY FAVORITE BOOK SERIES EVER!!! I just completely enjoy every aspect of it, and there are too many reasons to name why this will always be my all-time favorite! Personally, I would love either Fink’s backstory or Imogen’s POV of meeting Sage. They both sound awesome! Merry Christmas Mrs. Nielsen!
This wasn’t one of the options, but I would love to see the backstory of the woman who helps Jaron while he’s a prisoner in the Avenian camp, I think it could add a lot to those scenes😊

A lot of good options, but I have to go with #5. I’d love to see life at the castle in the months and years after Jaron was sent away to live as Sage. Darius and their parents’ thoughts and actions in the aftermath would be very interesting!

I love Sage, he is completely one of my comfort characters.I feel like I know him REALLY well, and like he knows me too. Which makes no sense because of course he’s fictional, but his inner dialogue just always feels like he would understand me.
Also I definitely need some ascendance “swag”. 😂❤️
