Based on the true story of the Jewish teenagers who fought back against the Nazis. I’ll follow Chaya Lindner, an experienced Jewish courier and resistance fighter, and her new companion, Ester Karolinski, from the ghettos in Krakow up to Warsaw in time for the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, a civilian battle that lasted longer against the Nazis than the entire country of Poland lasted against the Nazis.

Are any of these amazing new projects going to be middle-grade books? My 5th graders continue to be OBSESSED with both The False Prince and The Mark of the Thief series!
Hi Lorie – RESISTANCE is for 5th grade and up, and BOOK SMUGGLER will be solidly middle grade. SUPER SECRET PROJECT is definitely a middle grade as well.
Resistance is a must have for every YA classroom across the nation!!!!! Can’t wait to buy a classroom set for my own 7th graders who are working to change the statistics in our country about Holocaust knowledge. I am also SUPER excited about your Book Smuggler project!!!!!

I’m so excited about all the projects you’re working on right now!! The Book Smuggler sounds really neat!!! You can’t tell me about a super secret project without telling me what the secret is about!!!! The suspense is killing me!! Do you know when we’ll learn more about it??

Someone just popped in to ask about that secret project and when it comes out. That directed us here. I said 2020, but that is just a guess. We are excited by all of your upcoming projects.
Hi Aaron – BI (2020) is not the super secret project, but it’s progressing too in so many exciting ways. SUPER SECRET PROJECT doesn’t yet have a release date.

Is the Super Secert project the duology with the initials of BI mentioned earlier this year or are they two separate projects? Also is there any new info on movies, either Night Divided or False Prince?
Super Secret Project is not the BI duology, though I’m ridiculously excited to get going on that one. The screenplay for A NIGHT DIVIDED continues to move forward, and there may be some movement on THE FALSE PRINCE, though nothing yet worth reporting. But thanks for asking!
I LOVE all your books that are out so far. The Ascendance Trilogy will always be my favorite…maybe even my favorite series period. I also loved The Traitor’s Game. I don’t think I realized how much treachery was going to be in the book until I finished it, and then I felt like I stared at a wall with my mouth hanging open for a full five minutes. I cannot wait for The Deceiver’s Heart to come out. The suspense is killing me! And now I’m curious as to what this Super Secret Project is. I agree with Ellie who commented that you should make a riddle for it.
