This is the final video posted in celebration of the release of RESCUE. I hope you’ll enjoy it!
I promised to do a giveaway for those of you whose questions I answered. The winner of that is Mrs. Fitz’s Library! Thank you all for your questions though – they were really hard to choose from.
If you’re interested in ordering a copy of RESCUE for yourself (or any of my books), here are a few links you can use:
If you want a signed book from me, please order from The King’s English. In the notes or comments section at checkout, please tell them you want this book to be signed AND if you want your name in it, tell them that name too. I’ll sign it and they’ll ship it!

LOVED IT!! 🤩
These were videos were awesome! It’s so sad that they’re at their end. I still have a question though…when you were writing The False Prince, The Traitor’s Game, and The Mark of the Thief, did you always know that you would have sequels and series after them?
For all three series, yes, I did know from the beginning.
Thank you so much for all of these book chats! Learning so much from them.
Keep up the good work! Very much appreciated!
Thanks for another great Q&A. I’ve really enjoyed them.
Just finished Rescue! It was awesome! Will there be a second book? Can you write a short story on what happens to Liesel?
Good suggestion, Alisha – I might!
That would be so awesome! 🙂
Hello Ms. Jen
I just want to say congratulations for all the works you have done consistently for us your readers. We are looking forward to more of your works. I am so proud of you. Thank you and keep on writing! All the best
Thank you!
A wee bit late here, but…
Wow, these Q&A chats were amazing! You’re a great teacher, Mrs. Nielsen; thank you. 🙂 Once again, congratulations on publishing Rescue, and I look forward to more book chats!
(On a side note, all credit goes to Neda for that great question on underappreciated books, not me!) XD
Ah, oops!
Hello Mrs. Nielsen!
We all appreciate so much the work you do to make these videos, to write the short stories, and to keep us all updated. We are grateful beyond description.
RESCUE is another big accomplishment for you! I know you have done this multiple times, but it’s something to be celebrated even still. Give yourself a pat on the back. 🙂 You did something amazing that I still dream of.
Wishing you a happy St. Patrick’s Day, and all the best from Canada,
~ Laura K. Abeid
Thank you!
I read Rescue and listened to the audio book! They are AMAZING!!!
Thank you!
Ok, I know this has nothing to do with the videos (which I sadly haven’t watched yet cause I haven’t found time to yet) , but in goodreads, I saw something called “Lines of Courage” and I really want to know more about this! But it also said it’s coming out in 2022 🙁 but I still am SUPER excited to hear more about this! Also another question I’ve had for a while, is there a specific reason that there is Joth kerwyn in The False Prince, and Joth in The Warriors Curse? I need to know if you just like the name Joth out of there is some sort of connection between them! Thanks!!!
I think I just like the name, Joth. And Lines of Courage will be a WW1 novel that I’m excited to begin talking about very soon!
when will you be on tour in South Carolina? I really need to get the False Prince!! Also: do you have any advice for an aspiring writer?
I hope to be able to return to South Carolina soon. And for advice, see the “For Writers” page of my website. Good luck!
Hi Mrs Nielsen!!
Thanks so much for these videos! They’re so useful and informative for us developing authors. I enjoy your books so much, and I have to say that “Rescue” is one of my favorites now 😀
On another note, here’s a question: Do you think of Jaron from the Ascendance Series still as Sage or as Jaron?
Thanks again,
Reader 07
I think of him as Jaron but in public forums call him Sage to avoid spoilers.
Hi Jennifer Nielson!
Do you know when The Shattered Castle book 5 in the ascendance trilogy will be released in Australia?
I don’t know, I’m sorry,
Hi,
Is there a paperback version for rescue?
Not yet, unless it’s available through Scholastic Book Fairs as a paperback. I’m not sure if it is or not.
Thank you!
