My next historical, LINES OF COURAGE, will be released on May 17th. This is the story of five young people from five different countries over five years of World War 1.
Over the next five weeks, I will introduce you to each of them.
But today, I’m asking you to consider pre-purchasing a copy of your own. There are three reasons why…
- I genuinely think this is a great book with stories you will really enjoy.
- My publisher is working hard to promote this book. I want them to know that their efforts paid off so they will continue to promote my work.
- And…to be honest here, although my other historicals have sold very well, none of them have ever hit the New York Times List before. I would love for LINES OF COURAGE to be the first.
For all of these reasons, pre-sales matter a lot. However, in gratitude, I want to give back as well.

AAAAAAAA I’m SO excited!!! I absolutely LOVED all your other historical fiction books and the Ascendance series, and I know this one will be just as amazing! I’m going to try to order it asap (and try not to read it until I go to camp this summer so I have something to look forward to on the long trip!) 🙂

I just finished Rescue and Resistance. I absolutely love The False Prince series. I can not believe it is 10 years old! I work in an elementary school library and love recommending your books. I am super excited about Lines of Courage and will definitely pre-order it.
