End of School Year Status

The Stats

So by my rough estimate, over this past school year, I attended 10 festivals or conferences, did 33 Skype visits, and visited 117 schools in 17 states plus schools in Japan. And I loved every one of them.

If it sounds like a lot, I still have never visited schools in about ten states and several hundred countries, so there are always more visits to be done!

A NIGHT DIVIDED is free as an audiobook for a few more days. Download yours today! Click HERE for the link!

Happening Recently

Two of my books had a huge night recently. THE TRAITOR’S GAME won a Whitney Award for Best YA Novel, and RESISTANCE won for Best Middle Grade Novel and for Best Overall Youth Novel.

Happening Soon

This week, I will turn in final edits for THE WARRIOR’S CURSE, the third book in the Traitor’s Game series.

And it is nearly time for Giveaway Summer to begin! Most of the books will be galley copies of WORDS ON FIRE, the historical coming in June, but there will be some other surprises too!

That’s soooooo awesome!! Also that picture with the poster on the wall is sooo cool! What schools in Japan did you go to? And are you fluent in Japanese, cause that’s really cool, and I’m also learning Japanese.(Korean and Chinese, too) Anyway, so it looks like you had an amazing school year(unlike me lol) ninth grade is really hard.

    Have a good summer, Jennifer.

Hi Kaela – I speak very little Japanese, but I was in International American schools there, and it was really wonderful. Very cool that you have so many languages in your portfolio!

How funny! I probably won’t be there in October, but at least we’ll share similar space in the same year!

Could you ‘accidentally’ turn in the final edits for The Warriors Curse to me? 😉

My ten-year-old daughter, Verity, loved “Resistance” and “A Night Divided.” She is excited to learn about “Words on Fire,” and we will be sure to buy her a copy as soon as it’s released! Congratulations on all your much-deserved awards. Thank you for bringing history alive. Awesome!
